Psychotherapy and Inner Exploration

Description: This unit is an overview of the discoveries of pioneering psychiatrist and psychotherapist Stanislav Grof M.D. who, over more than 30 years of study of altered states of consciousness, developed an extended model of the psyche that connects our conscious experiences with birth, life before life and transpersonal states. This model can throw much light upon mystical, visionary and shamanic experiences, psychosis, the dynamics of psychotherapy and sociopolitical upheavals such as war and revolution.
