Unit title:          The Practice of Jung's Psychology

Credit value:     4.5 credits   (For occasional study purposes this course is treated as one 3-credit unit).

Description:      This unit provides an accessible yet comprehensive introduction to how Jungian analysis (Analytical Psychology) is actually practised today, and an overview of modern Jungian thought on the development of human individual consciousness. Topics covered include the process of analysis, complexes, dreams, archetypes, individuation, anima and animus, persona and shadow, active imagination, psychological types, religion and death. This course can be taken as an introduction to the work of Jung or as a companion to other Jungian-related units, which this course will complement.
