and Spirit - a Native American Path

Description: This unit explores a particular set of Native American shamanic teachings (or “medicine”), expounded to the world by a shaman of Native American (Osage and Cherokee) and English descent who also has a background in modern psychology. In her first two books, she introduces the concepts, tools, ceremonies, prayers, journeys and stories of her path which though individual, draws from a rich tradition. This unit will be of interest to students of shamanic studies, transpersonal psychology, religious studies, comparative religion, metaphysics, contemporary spirituality, personal development, parapsychology, and various other fields.
