Unit number: REG
313
Unit title: Past
Lives Examined
Credit value: 3 credits
Description: This unit explores reincarnation and what happens when we explore past lives with special reference to regression. It answers questions such as whether past-life regression has meaning and value. The answer is emphatically yes and explains why regression is of value even if the past life experienced is not objectively true but a metaphor. Subjects such as the nature of time, levels of consciousness and the definition of the soul are studied. The purpose of regression is explained in terms of healing and spiritual growth in the present life. Many case studies are given, which make the unit lively, thought-provoking and interesting. The unit complements other units on the same subject by providing different perspectives, cases and ideas.
Key textbook: Judy Hall, Déjà Who? A New Look at Past Lives, Findhorn Press, 1998
