Health Loving Relationships
Credit value: 3 credits
Description: Based on the well-known work of John Bradshaw, this unit presents a holistic plan for developing and maintaining four kinds of love: relationship with a higher power, relationship with self, relationships with friends and loved ones, and relationship with the world. This unit is for all those in “recovery”, anyone concerned with self-development and personal growth, and also counselors, psychotherapists and helpers. As Bradshaw’s plan is rooted in the four types of love found in the Genesis story, it will be of considerable interest to pastoral counselors and students of religion, though belief in organized religion is not required in order to appreciate this unit.
