Unit title:          Mediums, Psychics and the Afterlife

Credit value:     3 credits 

Description:      This unit surveys 50 years of mediumship, channelling and spirit communication. Subjects covered include Spiritualism, psychic surgery, clairvoyance, trance healing, spirit guidance, ectoplasm, automatic writing, ghosts, poltergeists, reincarnation, crime-solving, skepticism and television mediums. The student will also learn the differences between a psychic and a medium, ghosts and spirits, and details about various degrees of trance and types of automatism.
