Description: In today’s business environment the demands on quality and pressures on costs increase daily. Quality is no longer a competitive advantage but a survival tool. This unit explores the domain of quality management and we will be looking into topics such as TQM, quality systems, service quality, continuous improvement, quality tools, culture and many other topics. This unit is useful for students in management positions at all levels and quality assurance practitioners. The tools and concepts introduced in this unit are suitable for service, trading and manufacturing concerns. This unit is suitable for general management programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
