Description: Marketing is a business function which utilizes a wide range of well-developed management techniques to enhance the promotion and selling of products and services. This unit is designed as a general course in marketing and should appeal to business students and anyone interested in knowing how to start managing their marketing efforts. It provides students with a comprehensive overview of contemporary marketing issues. Topics covered include definitions of marketing concepts, a historical perspective on marketing, explanations of marketing processes, customer relationship management, public relations and other relevant areas.
