Unit title:          Hypnotherapy for Addictions

Credit value:      3 credits 

Description:       This course for hypnotherapists offers complete script-based hypnosis programmes for smoking cessation, drug abuse, weight control and alcohol abuse. The scripts, which are influenced by Ericksonian style, are suitable for individual and group work. Stress reduction and other general techniques are included, and scripts for sexual fulfilment are provided.  The scripts are designed to allow clients to reach their healthy outcomes in as few sessions as possible. These scripts may be used by beginning or experienced hypnotherapists and also can be studied by those seeking to adapt them to other problems and to create their own addiction scripts and free-style treatments. The programmes offered in this course are tried and tested and have been used in a professional psychotherapy clinic for over 15 years.

Prerequisities:   Some previous knowledge of hypnosis or hypnotherapy.
