Unit title:           Dissociative Children and Treatment Strategies

Credit value:      3 credits

Description:       This unit provides an introduction to dissociation and dissociative disorders, especially concerning children, with guidelines for treatment.  The dissociative strategies and disorders of children and adolescents are described with the aid of case studies and examples of childrens’ art. Practical approaches to treatment are presented including the use of play, art therapy and storytelling.
