Adjunct faculty and advisory board members contribute their expertise and tutorial/supervisory services on a consultancy basis and are based at their own centres and/or clinics in various international locations. Some hold positions at colleges or universities in their own countries or run professional practices or businesses.

Adjunct faculty may contribute to certain Diplomas or Certificates of Calamus Extension College Ltd., London, UK.

Professorships, Assistant Professorships or Associate Professorships held by adjunct faculty and advisory board members listed above are not UK professorships. All professorial titles of Calamus International University are held on an honorary basis.

The use of the title "Dr." does not signify that the holder is a Doctor of Medicine unless specific medical qualifications are listed, and does not signify a doctorate awarded by a UK university unless a specific doctorate awarded by a named UK university is listed. In some cases the title "Dr." may be a courtesy title related to an honorary doctorate.

Adjunct faculty may have degrees, higher degrees or doctorates from non-UK universities.

The abbreviations Ph.D.(c) or Ph.D. (cand.) signify a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy who is still researching his/her dissertation.

CIU-Vanuatu refers to Calamus International University when registered in the Republic of Vanuatu.
CIU-BWI refers to Calamus International University when registered in the Turks and Caicos Islands (British West Indies).
